Take a picture of yourself having lunch at your favorite restaurant.
A photo of you with the restaurant's food, physical logo, or menu visible in the picture.
Upload the photo to yfrog and tweet about it.
Make sure you mention @yfroglunch and include #yfroglunch in your tweet to be eligible.
Example of an eligible tweet:
"Hey @yfroglunch here's my lunch #subway, give me my free #yfroglunch! http://yfrog.com/[your-pic]"

Go to your favorite restaurant and tweet picture of yourself having lunch using yfrog. Every day, yfrog will hold a drawing. If you win, you will get a $100 gift certificate to your restaurant of choice!

You may participate in the contest a maximum of once per day. A tweet is considered an entry into the contest if your tweet meets the following criteria:

  • You have used yfrog to upload your picture. Your tweet must have a photo hosted by yfrog in it. Other photo upload services are not eligible to participate in the contest.
  • You are following @yfroglunch, and you must have at least one follower.
  • You have included #yfroglunch in your tweet, and @ mentioned @yfroglunch in your tweet.
  • You have included the restaurant hashtag (for instance #mcdonalds, #subway, etc) in your tweet.
  • Your photo has you in it (yourself or your face) and has the restaurant's food, physical logo, or menu visible in the picture.

As you get more followers, you are also awarded extra entries for each contest submission.

How do I know if I won?

We will @ mention you in a tweet coming from @yfroglunch.

If your restaurant of choice is a popular chain restaurant, we will send you the gift certificate number via direct message.

If it is a less well known restaurant, yfrog will direct message you with a special claim code.

We'll call the restaurant and put $100 on an account for you. Next time you come in to eat there, tell them your claim code and claim the $100 gift certificate.

Official Rules, Consumer Disclosure, and Legal Details

ImageShack Corp (henceforth "ImageShack") is the legal entity that runs the yfrog winPix(tm) contest (henceforth "the contest"). ImageShack adheres to California Law as it pertains to contests, described in Rules For Operation of Contests and Sweepstakes: Legal Guide U-3 and in BUSINESS AND PROFESSIONS CODE SECTION 17530-17539.6 and in Be Smart Buy Smart: What Smart Shoppers Know About Sweepstakes, Contests, and Lotteries.

The contest runs between 6:00 AM PST and 5:00 PM PST, every day, starting June 6th, 2011, and ending June 15th, 2012. Drawings are held every day at 5:00 PM, and prizes are awarded daily. The contest runs every day of the year without any interruptions. Per our Terms and Conditions, ImageShack may perform maintenance services as it determines reasonably necessary. You acknowledge that such maintenance may require downtime. ImageShack will attempt in good faith to provide prior notice of the maintenance downtime. Said maintenance may result in contest interruption.

The total number of people eligible to participate in the contest for any particular day is at equivalent to the follower count of @yfroglunch. For instance, if the total number of followers listed on the follower count of @yfroglunch is 10,000, then the chances to win are 1:10,000. ImageShack will follow best practice and good faith efforts to display and disclose the chances to win based on previous contest results.

A maximum of one contest entry, as described in "Contest Participation" is required to enter the contest. Additionally, you must meet the following terms in order to have your entry qualify for the contest:

  • You must adhere to our Terms and Conditions as well as Twitter(r)'s rules.
  • Multiple submissions will not improve your chances of winning for that particular day. Spammers will be disqualified.
  • Generating multiple fake Twitter(r) accounts, either for the purpose of entering the contest multiple times, or for increasing your follower count, is strictly prohibited and will disqualify you from the contest forever.

You need not purchase a lunch in order to particulate in the contest. You may simply tweet a picture of yourself standing in front of the restaurant, or holding one of their menus, as long as the restaurant name or logo is visible. Lunch-related purchases will not in any way influence the probability of winning.
