Mobile Software Engineer
Yfrog is ImageShack's mobile media platform, and is the leading media sharing service for Twitter. We are actively looking to add an experienced mobile developer to our team to help build a robust application capable of handling our fast-growing volume of users and media. We are seeking a talented developer with a special passion for mobility to build out tools, frameworks & processes that will span ImageShack’s smartphone development platforms.
Responsibilities
- Contribute best-in-class programming skills to develop highly innovative, consumer-facing mobile products
- Continually offer thought-leadership and dependable execution ability in a high-paced environment
- Work closely with UX and UI, product management, and other teams to conceive, create, and design unique
- Rapidly add new functionality, solve complex problems, and ship quality applications
Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience in software design and development
- Deep knowledge of iOS and/or Android
- Excellent Objective-C or Java programming skills
- Have created one or more deployed consumer IOS/Android applications
- Strong intuition for UX and consumer behavior
- Ability to manage conflicting project demands and thrive in a small, fast-paced, start-up environment
- Front-end web experience, particularly with HTML5, AJAX, JS, and CSS is a plus
- BA/BS in Computer Science or a related field (or equivalent practical experience)
